DUH!! Pikachu was/is the bomb in that game. My team's name in competitions was Shiekachu (Shiek and Pikachu). We were always top members in the place we'd play at.

Solid Snake is playable too *pokes* its leaving the Nintendo Mascots only and becoming more of a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" Of videogames.

Sega is no longer in the “console” market therefore is free to distribute its software to multiple vendor platforms. This happened about 3 yeas ago I believe. They have been with Sony and Microsoft for a while, and have had things in the works for a while with Nintendo, who was there biggest competitor in the 80’s and 90’s.

Never know. I think we'd need to see some kind of Master Chief actually appear in a Nintendo game, but MS is big on exclusive deals.

Oh I'm well aware of Sega's status now. Doesn't stop this from being freaky. Especially since I remember all the down and dirty mudslinging back in the 90's between Sega and Nintendo.

Agreed. I've never liked Sonic, but Tails is okay. Actually, I like the whole supporting cast better than Sonic.

As for Sonic and Mario finally going head to head, yeah, it's like reality has become warped, but it's actually been anticipated for some time. I think I heard there were rumors about him being a hidden character in the original game.

I also notice in the video he goes Super Sonic. I wonder if this is unique to him, or if everyone will have a "powered up" mode...
