View Full Version : I owe you all an apology...

Alumette

...for my "Atrophy" thread. I can't believe I foisted my negative wallowing on all of you <mortified>.

The end of the school year is always really tough for me emotionally. There's a lot of emotional energy flying around as I juggle the pain and hope of "letting go" of my seniors, the pride at seeing what all my students have accomplished, the stress of getting grades done and handed in, the anticipation for summer, the reflective element of reviewing my satisfaction with my own performance over the year, etc. And it may come as a surprise to some of you, but I am definitely my own worst critic.

So, anyway, it's not an excuse, but it's a reason. The next week or so is going to be pretty roller-coastery for me. I'll try to shield you all from the shrapnel, but be prepared for the possible occasional appearance of Psycho Alumette.

Next mood swing: 21.3 hours. :)

Merci pour votre patience.

Sometimes people need to vent, which my current "Until today..." thread and I are a perfect example of.

Eh, it happens too all of us. Really. No biggie. It's not like you swore at us all and throw pans at us or anything, you know? :tarby:

If the spam form isn't a good enough place, maybe a "Rant" forum is needed. We all need to let go now and then.

Just be yourself, no matter what that means, as long as its within the limits of the US law. ;)

MDR
(mort[e] de rire) at you all. :) I've seen RHV before, but never RHF. I'll have to add that one. Nice! :)

Thanks guys. :) Today was much better. Really awesome, actually. I'll go into more detail later. At the moment I'm on AIM helping a student with a project, so I can't make long posts right now.

<hugs> You're the best! I <3 Gurus!
