I saw an interview with Alex Ross on the Anime Network, he did the box cover for the new Gatchaman box set. Other than that, never seen any of his work.

I always read JSA and he is doing covers for that right now. In issue #73 the front cover is of Captain Marvel and I love it because he is one of my favorites of all time!
Here it is, check it out:

First you say you haven't read 1984, and now you've never seen any of Alex Ross' work? That's it, you're in for some serious reschooling. :D

Lesson Number One:

This is Alex f*ckin' Ross:

Lesson Number Two:

You will praise, honour and/or the very least respect him.

Lesson Number Three:

You will read Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross.

I never said he wasn't a good artist ._.;

Its just that I saw that interview the other day, and decided it was somewhat reply-worthy :|

Hehe my post was in no way a derogatory post, I was just messing around with you. Sorry if it came about that way though, been having a bad day.

No hard feelings? :)

Alex Ross is a god among immortals. Kingdom Come is by far the coolest limited series I have EVER read (with Dark Knight Returns running a VERY close second).

1984 rocked. The movie was "ok" but the book was excellent. Very dark, and kinda convoluted. But still excellent.

But before there was Kingdom Come there was this:

Kingdom Come might've been the better story, but my God, Marvels is probably Ross's best work.

Although Justice might top it. It's the most kinetic and moving I've ever seen him do......Did you see J'onn? Holy CRAP!....

I love Paradise X myself and Marvel is a classic, don't let me get started on Kingdom Come
