With that everything was as it should be, the battle was over. He had won the battle against himself. He loved Big Brother.

George Orwell wrote, imho, one of the best novels ever called "1984" which was set like 50 years in the future, at the time, where a fascist type government was in place that controlled peoples live.

Thats where we get the term "Big Brother is watching", Big Brother being the euphemism for the government.

So the George Orwell plaze having 24 hour surveillance is ironic 'cause of the book... :D

That too. :D

I loved how the Guide to the Technocracy (for the Mage: The Ascension RPG) made frequent references to 1984, most noticeably in the ten-step guide to indoctrinizing people into the shadow government's way of thinking. That the New World Order exists as one of the Conventions of the Technocracy isn't any mere coincidence either; They even remembered to bring the Men in Black, the black helicopters, the monitoring devices inside your TV sets and whatnot.... ;)

Ah, delicious. It might as well be named Conspiracy Theory: The Roleplaying Game. :D

Actually there are a couple of games not far off Illuminati and Warehouse 23 books for GURPs and the old Dark Matter system from TSR/WotC. Not that I would actually have those, mind you. :notme:
