Post Mini Meetup Afterthoughts of the Prez, Princess, the Quake and the Naked Dwarf.

Now that the weekend is over, I've made this thread to post afterthoughts of my mini meetup so to speak with ND, Bree, and Quake. Now I remind you, I've met with Thundermace and Cobolt before so meeting Guru people was nothing new for me...but I still was a bit nervous. :grr: (Gotta live up to that whole hype that I put myself up too..psst I'm pretty whack..that's the secret.) :chuckle:

Anyhoo..has you can see from the pictures I posted in the real life thread (those are just a few...the others are just solo shots of us.) They are all awesome people. I truely had a great time (eventhough it was short). I didn't get to hang with Quake, but I spent the day with Bree and ND. They are awesome and everything I imagined them to be. Truely wonderfully gifted human beings and I easily got along with in real life. Not saying that I wouldn't have..but you know . ;)

Apparently I lived up to my own hype as well..I was everything they thought I would be and then some..but I'll let them tell you that.

/em cheers to this one..and I hope the July one is twice as awesome. How can It not be? I'm that damn awesome...remember? ;)

Well I just have three things to say:

1. I had an awesomely fun time. You guys were a blast to hang with. I mean we clicked so well it was like we'd known each other for a long time. I never felt out of place at all.

2. That pic of me sleeping. Is there a reason you waited til I was safely out of the city to post it? :P

3. I want it to be known that I beat SK in a game of Super Smash Brothers Melee. I don't care if he says that he was "Distracted" :D

Lately my travels in life have given me the opportunity to meet Bari Jon, Rottie, Star, Nyxie, Gaia, Silent, and Quake. Meeting them has made it all the more clear that we have a community of unique and wonderful individuals. Each is a beautiful person with tremendous qualities. I feel privileged to have met them.


ND and I had a blast in Atlanta.

We briefly met Quake. He is a fun loving individual with a great sense of humor.

We were able to spend a bit of time with Silent. As stated by ND we clicked immediately. It was as if we were old friends reuniting. Silent is a true friend. He has a heart bigger than himself (That's saying a lot considering he towered over me.) His infectious laughter and desire to make those around him feel comfortable and at home made every moment spent together a joy. Of course I expected no less from him. Not to mention he has an adorable teddy bear!

Silent's good friend No_Syt was a trip. What a sweetheart!

I am looking forward to the meet up next month. The idea of getting to know those I have already met a little better and meet those of you who can make it, fills me with anticipation. :)



Oh and yes ND managed to beat Silent one round. Just for the record, I did very poorly until we did team battles.........then....... Silent and I Rocked!(ofcourse that was all him)

And I wouldn't have had it any other way. You and I can take on any of these clowns.. :chuckle: I'm extremely happy and proud that you guys were able to enjoy yourselves. Hopefully we can get everyone to stayin the same hotel..since it's so close to the house. :)
