Great, now I'll have that song in my head for weeks. D: *dumps water on the fiery one* All to prove a point to some guy we don't know! I'll shank yoooou!
On a similar note, my cousin, who's my age, said he has never heard of David Bowie. But I didn't feel like polling everyone as.. Well.. I mean really...

It's obvious if you're a certain age. I'd guess that if you start getting down into the early twenties and teens it becomes more of a head scratcher.

I always wondered what happened to the little Bee Girl. Sort of weird since she's probably about my age.

Nah. We get to meet the fellowship members but not actually interfere with the trip of the one ring. We are involved in the war with Sauron's forces, not that little sneak attack with the ring ;P
Plus i'm the main healer for the number 1 kinship in the game. We have gotten every single world first :) It's kinda busywork ;P Plus I don't actually heal people, I play songs on my guitar that makes them feel better about themselves. Gogo cheerleader :p

Franziska von Karma / Mei Karuma / Franziska von Karma
狩魔冥
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 162 cm
Occupation: Prosecutor
Official Art
A young "genius" prosecutor who has been carrying on work in Germany.
Personality: Franziska is much like her father - striving for perfection. Always curt and precise, but she displays more smugness (and frustration) than Karma. She also goes to extreme lengths to preserve her record.
Misc Facts: Despite speaking formally most of the time, she sometimes breaks out into petty and redundant insults, mostly involving "fool". Example: "Only a foolish fool from a land of fools could think something so foolishly foolish."
In the Japanese version, she was practicing law in America instead of Germany.
Friends and Family: Franziska is Manfred von Karma's daughter, and was raised along with Miles (she thinks of him as her "little brother"). She also has an older sister who is married and has a daughter.
Name Origin:
English: "Franziska" was probably chosen to match the German influence of her father's name.
Japanese: The kanji for "mei" means "dark." When the game came out there was some confusion as to whether she was Karma's daughter or niece, because the word mei means niece.
Background: Franziska was raised by her father, Manfred von Karma, and began her career as a prosecutor in Germany at the young age of 13. She is considered a genius in her field and, up until her appearance, never lost a case.
http://www.court-records.net/animations/aa-fran.htm (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU) animations of her. Yoru so needy! :P

I vaguely remember a field and a bee running thru it, and thinking that this guy was from around where I was living at the time. But I was pretty out of it in college/grad school and most of 93 is pretty hazy (or is that 92?),after that I just worked all the time. :P
Remember anyone in their early 20s was like 5 to 10 at the time, mostly Barney songs or some stuff.

Things I learned from that Lucky Star intro:
1) "Kawaii" is pronounced KAH-wah-ee, not kah-WHY-ee.
2) Any bit character can steal my attention from the main characters simply by being tall with green hair and a perpetually nonplussed look in her eyes. :p
3) The Japanese are assimilating English words and phrases into their own language, apparently.
Things I learned from watching another (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiEIatGmYig) Lucky Star video:
1) For being a blue-haired fictional anime character, Konata's a bigger MMOG addict than all of us combined.
2) A little girl can kick Guile's ass. No, wait...Cammy already taught us that in the Street Fighter games.
3) When the Japanese think of big, mean, girl-snatching foreigners, they think of us. :D
4) I have no idea how to eat a chocolate cornet either.
And another (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50N-Va64Zx8&NR=1):
1) Anime is not too good to self-reference or break the fourth wall.
2) One-piece swimsuits are the rage in Japan.
3) Some people don't realize that if you shoot a watermelon and get covered in watermelon pulp, you're standing too close.
4) Pointing at people with one's foot is a perfectly normal gesture in Japan. :D
5) One float ring can provide buoyancy for as many as three young girls.
One-shots:
There's not very much public awareness of May Sickness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vfPz5dLAXc). It's a serious disease, man. :D
If Americans ever need a game where they can trounce the Japanese for a change, try the claw game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yP7Jho_oubM). :D
Nudity isn't necessarily mandatory (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3onwOKKEzs) when it comes to bathing. :p
