I played finally with a friend, now I'm interested. Problem is.. I used to see them all the time, now that I'm looking for them I can't find them. So I checked Walmart [even KMart, but that was just by accident], but neither had any.. all they have is Attacktix or something like that. What stores should I be looking in? Or will I have to hit hobby shops and hope to get lucky?

I used to play this all the time. I have a couple hundred clix still. Alot of the Marvel, DC and Indy Clix. I was so addicted to this game that I bought alot of the unique ones on E-Bay. I think Nightcrawler was the most I ever paid for one at $55. I bought alot of mine at hobby stores.

Yeah, game and hobby stores are your best bet.

eBay is a good place too. My friend bought big lots of the common ones for very cheap. But then he just wanted them for the figures as we role played. =P

Well, I already ordered the CoV Collectors for 12$ and all the Question [Rookie,Experieced and Veteran, I think?] clix from the DC Origins set, since I liked Question the best out of all the Heroclix I had played with that day. I figured that'd give me all the cool CoH/V stuff to show off to my friends who don't play.. plus give me Question and his awesome abilities which won me some games, though that was probably luck.

Honestly Psybeetle, youd be better of not too. I used to play and judge. I had a bunch, but the problem is they keep raising the prices, and they are very adictive, like the lottery, and whenever you play the game your gonna get people bitching about every move. but if you want them check your comic stores. they sell them there, otherwise, heed my warnings

So true. There were people that broke out the rule book after every move.

It started being more about the game and less about the heroes. Then it became about the peices with in the rules of the game and figures just happened to be on bases.... Thats about when I threw my hands up and quit.

As for comic stores, my city lacks them.. don't even have one within any part of Manassas or Manassas Park, sucky huh? So I doubt I'd be able to check a comic store any time soon. Still need to try the Hobby shop, but I need a ride.. I should really look into that drivers license thing.. >>;

Ive got a **** ton of them and im never gonna play again, wish i had my digital camera, id post a picture of them if you were interested. Only problem is that i havent actively played it in well over a year, so im way behind on all the most current sets. But the sets I do have i have almost all of them except for a few uniques i managed to pawn off.

As long as it's within my price range that sounds cool. They still got the powers sheets and such by chance? I think you can download them, but I don't have a printer so I'd have to bug a friend.

I got all the older powers cards, no idea if they've been updated recently though. I havent gotten a new set in quite a while, so i dont have any of the newer figures that are coming with the character specific cards.IM me next time you see me online. We can talk there

I had about 50 pieces and they all disappeared in the move from College to Bingo. *shrugs* Doesn't feel like a big loss and besides I still have my Sentinel sitting on my dresser.

I've played quite a bit of Heroclix. i had like the first 5 sets of the game which are now retired. And I got back into it a bit at the end of last year and got most of Armor Wars and Supernova. It can be a very competitive game because everyone wants to win the LE figures at the tournaments. Seems there are always disagreements on the rules and is it super addictive. The chances of getting a complete set in a full case are just about nill. But it is fun with the right crowd and if you have a collector mentality.
