ok, i found this system called pathfinder. some people refer to this as a streamlined dnd 3.3474 you may want to check it out, it uses the dnd d20 system with a few changes here and there.

Cool. I've been wanting to check the system out since the left beta behind and released the hardcover, but I just don't have the income to waste on a game book that I can't even play at the moment...
From beta, I can recall some things being too streamlined and not approving... it seems like they went overboard and tried changing at least a little bit of everything and a lot of somethings. And some of the little bits seem like change for change's sake rather than actually improving the game. Its all well and good, I suppose, if you're playing Pathfinder exclusively, but I have a couple thousand dollars worth of 3.x sourcebooks and don't feel like changing all of that on the fly as I use it.
