((Ow my brain! Number puzzles always get me. :( ))

What!?! No ferrets!?! Fine, I'll stick to rats and seagulls that think I have bread. Stupid leech vat, everyone else whines about it but nooooo, I'm the one that gets thrown in there! Next time I find one plopping out of me when I shapeshift I'll make sure you'll find it. Ohhh, you'll definately find it...

we have a leech vat ??? That is like totally awesometastic , honest im having multiple awesomegasms just thinking about it !

Hmmmm which leech is mine ? can we name them ? what do we feed them ? ...how come we had a french guy as a prisoner , shouldn't we have just turned him into freedom fries ?

I get the feeling im always left out of the loop on these things what with only being a junior associate member an all .

((Ow my brain! Number puzzles always get me. :( ))
((I live for 'em myself. You know that part of the typical IQ test where they give you number puzzles and geometrical puzzles to determine how good you are at recognizing patterns?

Yep...aced it everytime. Coming up with number puzzles is even easier than figuring them out, too. :D ))

What!?! No ferrets!?! Fine, I'll stick to rats and seagulls that think I have bread. Stupid leech vat, everyone else whines about it but nooooo, I'm the one that gets thrown in there! Heaven help you if I find that leech in my bed, Bissy! Winter will be here by the time you grow all of your body hair back.... >:]

*looks enthralled*
Oh, dear.

we have a leech vat ???
Yes indeed. Right there in the sewers, where the master drain used to be. After we had an accident involving someone pouring liquified homemade Semtex down the bathroom sink, we simply waited for the dust to settle, filled the collapsed drain pipe with concrete and imported swamp water, and viola! Leech vat.

That is like totally awesometastic , honest im having multiple awesomegasms just thinking about it !
Please, not on the carpet.

Hmmmm which leech is mine ?
The one that's affixed to the skin of Abissmiliard's left armpit right now. There's $50 for you if you can sneak up behind him and yank your leech free before he knows you're there.... >:]

can we name them ?
Of course you can. Just don't expect your leech to come running when you call it.

what do we feed them ?
The blood of vermin-eating sewer dwellers who pry open elevator doors on the mistaken notion that there might be more delicious ferrets inside.... O_o

...how come we had a french guy as a prisoner , shouldn't we have just turned him into freedom fries ?
No, he's more fun to keep around. You should see Pierre squirm when you splash him with lemon juice. He's practically allergic to the stuff! >:]

I get the feeling im always left out of the loop on these things what with only being a junior associate member an all .
Clearly Slaphappy hasn't done the best job of educating you. I keep asking him to stop obsessing over that stupid marbles game and spend more time with you, but he just won't listen.

Hey! I opened it to slash him up good and you know you'd have done the same if you had the chance! Prissy pants was going on about how pretty and dandy some French thing is so I figured I'd give him some pretty scars, maybe write something out with them. No one told me he had some horrible French-smelling thing that stopped me! It was horrible! I've had to soak in the sewers constantly to get rid of it!

And don't you worry about finding it in your bed, I wouldn't be that obvious....

And you want leeches? Take a step in and take a look yourself.

((And I should note that while I'm good at picking up on visual patterns, numerical ones don't go so easy. Still gonna give it a shot though.))

I have all the answers (I think) posted in the Rogue Islands thread.

First Victim is not amused.

Pierre, these challenges are sophomoric.

28, 52, ____

Your last problem in the north box appears erroneous.

Divide by half, add sixteen. It's consistent throughout the entire formula until the end, where the halfing happens twice in a row. If I were to ingore this, my answer would be 84. If I were to correct your attempt to be clever, I would make it 1000, 500, 516, 258, 272, 136, 154, 77.

I will try both answers to see if they satisfy this riddle of yours.

Or the vines will work them until I have my way.

Cheers,
First Victim.

Box 2:

14, 211, 35.

Getting easier, sir... Though you caught me a moment with your additions of even numbers in the patterns. I thought for a moment it had to do with primes but passed you off as not THAT clever.

-First Victim.

***

Box 3:

5, 56, 83.

Pitiful.

-First Victim.

***

Box 4:

170, 39, 24.

Great use of the Fibonacci Sequence in the last one.

Box 1 - 28, 52, 34
Box 2 - 14, 211, 35
Box 3 - 5, 56, 85
Box 4 - 170, 33, 24

I'm sorry if this is late and others have already answered.

Edit: Red, shouldn't the 2nd sequence of box 4 been MINUS 3?

Yarr! This be easier than finding me burried treasure!

What is it with you humans and number games? Is it a way to flaunt your supposed intellect? The Strawman has no interst in the blatherings of an imbecile. The fact that he stole the Stone of Fear, however, shall bring down much anguish on this Pierre.

((Fixed the North box's third sequence, by the way. :D

So its official name is the Fibonacci sequence, eh? And here I thought it was just another numerical pattern. Hmmm...we have some clever people here, though. And to think that I conscientiously avoided cooking up any puzzles involving prime numbers, powers, operations in parentheses, decimal operations that result in whole numbers and/or square roots because I thought everyone would quit in frustration. Maybe next time. ))

((So since I PM'ed the answers when I wasn't sleeping at all last night for the first box including the error in the last pattern on it which has so thankfully been fixed, does that mean I get credit for it slightly before everyone else? ((You know, I never did post the conclusion to this one. Suffice it to say that Owain Venomdrinker and Ravishing Roy found Pierre Ladron, they all talked shop for a while, Owain declared that he was taking over Pierre's enterprise, Pierre ran to the Port Oakes arena to make a stand, Owain trounced Pierre badly and now Pierre has been indentured as Owain's armorer. And they all lived somewhat happily ever after. Maybe I'll post the screenshots eventually. :D )
