I figure $1US from everyone on the 'net would get me just enough to get me out of this financial emergency I'm in. My car's dead and I can't pay rent. :(
Seriously, though, I think I'm totally screwed. Anyone know of a way I could make some quick money?

What about blood? I heard you actually get paid for that sort some places. That's relatively easy money.
Hmm. Have any items you want to put on E-Bay that people may want? Sell books to a used book store. Pawn brokers are always looking for stuff. What ever you do don't go to those Payday Loan places you will get yourself in worse trouble than you are now, I'm speaking from experience.

You only need one kindey and half a liver :shinner:
Just kidding, sorry to hear that man. First of all, quit CoH if your that badly off. Then I guess try and eBay anything you don't need or want. Wish I had some more helpful hints :|

Any knowledge as to where one might find such places, preferable internationally? (I've been looking for some places, but apparently you do it for free in this country.)
PS. I plan for this to be my comic money.

The E-Bay option is a good one, actually it's tag sale season, scope out some tag sales, see if there's some old unique looking stuff, see if it's for sale on E-bay and how much, and then buy it cheap and sell it expensive.

Well I do have quite a bit of comics I'd be willing to part with, so EBay doesnt sound too bad. I have zero experience in researching their worth, though.
How about everyone PayPal me that buck :p

I'm in the same boat, relatively speaking.
I've been unemployed for the past 3 months, the money's gone, I'm currently about $100 shirt on rent, I've had to beg my mother for food, and I can't seem to get a job anywhere.
...
Can't sell stuff on Ebay: Since I have no credit card, I can't get a seller account.
Applying for financial assistance, but due to some problems with my taxes, how much money I made in my last job, and the fact that I quit, they have the right (and probably will) deny it for 3 more months at the very least.

Yeah, PM me the address and I'll send you a little if possible. Also, try to find an online version of Overstreet Price Guide, it's more detailed pricing guide, with more comics listed than Wizard.
I say you spend every penny you have on a return flight to Amsterdam, pick up some seeds and create you very own little Tijuana.

If you're serious about selling off your comics then that site should give you a rough guide as to what you have is worth, I believe the approximate price for each comic is averaged from previous sales. I sold quite a bit of my collection last year because I'm simply not interested in indivdual comics anymore. Anyway, I basically sold off my comics in lots and special editions and so on on their own. I certainly didn't get what I hoped to get, or what the guides were telling me I would get but I managed to amass a fair sum.
However, what else I would suggest is going in to charity shops and picking out select items of clothing that you think emo or indie kids would like and shove it on e-bay. My friend earns up to £120 a week by doing this and while you may scoff at it, it really is quite incredible the amount people will pay for an old rag of a shirt in an effort to look "individual".
I would send you a few dollars if I had any money in my PayPal account but I'm running a little low on funds myself thanks to my damn computer.

Got speaks the truth. Stupid subculture kiddies will pay exorbitant amounts of their parents' money to conform to the punk/emo/goth dress code.

I never quite understood that, you wear something to differentiate yourself from others by wearing something that looks more like a uniform than anything else?
Seriously it sounds like Got has the right idea.

Little do these emo kids know that in "breaking away from the system" they're actually playing right into a teenage sterotype.

Enough about these Emo kids... they have no class, besides if they knew anything about being Retro they'd turn into Yuppies like Michael J. Fox on that show with his hippie parents.
Anywho, cash sent mang, hope that drop in the bucket helps :)
Oh and btw, tell us your eBay id if you decide to put stuff up.

What an interesting idea. Perhaps I should go down to my local Goodwill tomorrow...
