It's not often I read something that I feel the need to share but I read this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/6676809.stm) today and I was rather surprised by it all. I wasn't aware that the police force had this kind of technology at their disposal and I had a brief but pretty worrying glimpse of the future. Right now I'm actually living in the city this is being tested and I swear, with the amount of cameras and mobile CCTV vans Liverpool already has, I'm not sure that there's a square foot of public land Big Brother's ubiquitous eye can't already see.
