It's not often I read something that I feel the need to share but I read this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/6676809.stm) today and I was rather surprised by it all. I wasn't aware that the police force had this kind of technology at their disposal and I had a brief but pretty worrying glimpse of the future. Right now I'm actually living in the city this is being tested and I swear, with the amount of cameras and mobile CCTV vans Liverpool already has, I'm not sure that there's a square foot of public land Big Brother's ubiquitous eye can't already see.

With Labour's compulsory ID cards aimed at the next few years I just wonder how long it'll be before these drones are equipped with instant execution protocols.

Jeebus.

I mean, public safety's important and all, I just wish that we could be protected without that protecting being so sinister.

So that's why you Scots are seceeding. I mean, "anti-social behaviour and public disorder" pretty much sums up the history of Scotland in one neat little phrase.

I'm hoping a personalized EMP field is in development. Meanwhile we just have to stick with the iSee (http://www.appliedautonomy.com/isee.html).
