im a lil new at this..how does one buy a name?

It's a Character I used to play as. Havent Played him in a while and probably never will. Just seeing if I can make a few bucks off of the name before I give it to my brother.

How it works is pretty simple. I have the name still, someone says they want it, they send me the influence, then I delete the character so they can use the name...

ahh i see what your saying now..duh ! sorry new guy syndrome...shope says buy sell and trade things for influence what other types of things can be bought? so far names..is digital stuf like sigs and artwork for sale as well? once again not trying to offend just curious

On the old boards, you got five "influence" (points on the forum) for every post you made, plus a point for every post past ten on a thread that you created. With the points, you could buy stuff like custom titles, the ability to sticky threads, glowy names, etc. People also used them as currency to get stuff like art, sigs, etc.

And that's where the Influence Store comes from.
Nowadays, it's sort of a trading post.
