Hey gang,
As I recall, last summer there was a thread started about "who's going to Origins" (on the Virtue forums), and some informal discussion got going about trying to meet up there - unfortunately, no time and place was ever really settled on. I was lucky enough to meet a couple fellow Virtue-ites there, but it was pretty much purely by accident (ran into Ascendant at the Cryptic/NCSoft booth in the dealer's room).
So, this year, Ascendant, Flagg, and myself would like to invite you all to our official meet-and-greet (well, ok, unofficial - this is in no way being sponsored or even endorsed by Cryptic ).
Any of ya'll CoHGuru-types who will be attending Origins gamefair in Columbus, Ohio, June 29-July 3, please come out and meet us for dinner at Barley's Brewpub, 467 N. High St. - it's a nice micro-brewery directly across the street from the convention center. We'll be there friday, July 1, 9pm.
For the uninformed, Origins is a big game convention held annually in Columbus, Ohio - this year it's June 29-July 3. It's not quite as big as Gencon, but it's that sort of convention - board gaming, rpg's, collectible card games, etc - computer games are not what it's primarily about, but there's been more and more of that in recent years.
Please post here or PM me if you plan to join us, so I can get a general headcount, and know how much table space we'll be likely to need there.
