History:
Cheryl Dominic was once the loving daughter of former world renowned biochemist Dr. Eugene Dominic. Cheryl's father was intent on discovering the link between the moon and the effects on humans. During his research he created a formula for an experimental compound capable of mimicking the physiological changes on a person's metabolism and chemical balance during the full moon.
In the past various chemical manufacturers had sent hired goons and saboteurs to his laboratory to try and steal or foul up his research, but one fateful night, while helping her father clean out the lab, another set of thugs broke in intent on stealing this newly developed compound.
One of the thugs found Cheryl and Dr. Dominic hiding in a broom closet and dragged them both out. After a brief discussion the thugs decided to wreck the lab and set it ablaze while leaving Cheryl and her dad bound and gagged in the midst of the inferno.
The intense heat made several beakers shatter spilling chemicals all over the two. By sheer chance a spare beaker of the experimental compound was left behind and soaked Cheryl allowing her to subconsciously channel a protective field around her. She survived the blaze but her father died of severe burns and smoke inhilation.
Vowing revenge Cheryl travelled the country in search of the person who sent the thugs only to arrive in Paragon City to find the chemical manufacturer's home office and main labs destroyed during the Rikti Invasion.
She now uses her powers to wreak terrible havoc on the remnants of the Rikti invaders that stole her chance for revenge.
