Xvid codecs and AC3 filter.

Ok, I'm trying to get some avi files to play. The movies play just fine, but there is no sound. I'm assuming I'm missing some kind of codek or filter plugin for Windows Media Player, but I can't seem to find it.
The files all end with:

<name of movie>.AC3.DVDRip.Xvid-FoV.avi

I've got a very sad girl here, hanging over my shoulders and making doe-eyes at me. Hoping to see some Star Trek episodes during the summer. :jono:

Just go to http://www.xvid.org/ and download the player or get the divx player from here http://www.divx.com/

Heh, allready had those two. I think I've DL'ed every codec known to man :D

I finally got it to work by installing the "ACE mega Codecs Pack". That thing was great. It just uninstalled all the old codecs and loaded me up with everything I needed.
