It even runs every video game known to man! :singdance
Thanks to me, Joe and everyone else who contributed a buttload of Prestige to Malice in Wonderland. Now let's kick our base expansion into overdrive, shall we? >:]

What does it do? Provide control?

By the ton.
The old Mainframe had three Databases and a Holodisplay. Their combined Control output didn't come anywhere near the Control generated by the Supercomputer. Take that as you will. :)
What baffles me is that I compared the Supercomputer with its Arcane counterpart (Orbits of Control). I couldn't even fit the Orbits' huge footprint in a 2x1 room area, whereas the Supercomputer fit with room to spare...enough for a pillar on either side, in fact. A lot of the Arcane items are huge compared to their Tech counterparts (with one exception being the Generator (Tech) which is slightly bigger than the Power Crystal (Arcane), the other being Tech telepads hogging up more space than Arcane telepads.).
No wonder everyone has Tech-heavy bases. Nobody wants stuff that won't fit anywhere. :|

This would explain why magic based SGs end up with tech in their base. I never understood why...until now. That had better have Destroy All Humans! or the Strawman will not be pleased.

Sure it does. Which platform? :)

Incidentally, we're going to have the Supercomputer for a while. For one, as Switch noted, we're a bit low on Prestige. For two, there's no reason to upgrade as the Supercomputer provides more than enough control for our base. And for three:

That's the AES, the next step up from our Supercomputer. Note that in this picture I'm trying to squeeze the AES into our theatre--the largest room in our base--and it's just not happening. Nevermind that I can't put an AES inside a workshop room; The theatre's just not wide enough. And think: The control room we have right now? We could fit three or four of those control rooms inside our theatre. And a control room which is the size of our theatre would be very, very expensive. We would probably have to expand the size of our plot, which can get hideously expensive as well.
So yeah...no AES for us, not anytime soon. Besides, we should get a bigger power supply first. I'm thinking Ley Tap. Now if we could just double the width of our power room....
