This is Captain Morggan's origin it is pretty amusing.
Captain Morgan has drank so much that he personally remembers very little of his past. What is known has been compiled from personal accounts of friends, family and random girls he hooked up with at frat. parties. Once a champion beer pong player, he turned to the sweet embrace of rum during his college years. After his fifth tour of duty as a college sophomore, he abandon any hope of a degree and elevated his drinking to superhuman levels. One night however, after an especially rigorous evening of shots, he was admitted to the hospital where it was discovered that he was suffering from complete liver failure. Hating the fact that he was being kept alive by machines, Captain Morggan elected not to wait for a suitable human donor and chose to receive the liver of a fallen Troll. His body violently reacted to the foreign tissue and experimental (anti-superdine) drugs were required to save him. The drugs mutated his body's DNA and the result were dark powers which allowed him to steel the very life force of another being and transfer it to himself. Not wanting to waste the unforeseen gifts he accepted Miss Liberty's (who he once hooked up with at the afore mentioned frat parties) offer to fight crime for Paragon City. As a hero, Captain Morggan is feared by many a criminal, and loved by many a citizen. It is rumored, although not confirmed, that to this day he drinks heavily in an attempt to destroy the troll liver within him. While he dislikes all evil-doers, other heros have noted that he fights with extra ferocity against trolls burrowing under the hollows.
