The Grand Theft Auto IV trailer came out today, and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Awesome. The graphics look fantastic and the atmosphere seems impressive so far. I do wonder how are they going to top San Andreas in terms of freedom, though.

Rockstar certainly has made the city look impressive. The artwork and lighting is fantastic.

I'm guessing that the rollercoaster will have some special jumps off of it. That'll be fun to try.

Maybe they'll put in some base jumping since they got all sorts of skycrapers

That was already in San Andreas, so probably, yeah. Looks good.

Hopefully the story is good, I've actually enjoyed all of the stories to each game so far. Vice City being my favorite, or maybe that was just Ray Liotta that made it awesome.

Am I the only one bothered by the fact the technically this is GTA 6?

...thought so :p.

Technically they claim that the releases are under diffrent Series of Grand Theft Auto. This is a full revamp, therefore it's number four in the series.

If your going by how many GTA games there have been this is actually the eighth, but if you count the Liberty City and Vice City stories and GTA Advance.. it's the eleventh. There will also be games released with this same engine and graphics for sure, but they probably won't be GTA5, that'll be held for a full revamp like this.

GTA4 has been delayed until Q2 of 2008. :(

Yeh bit of a bummer, but on the bright side theres quite alot of HUGE games coming out around that time. :D
