ever since we decided to bug outta ogaming.com, they suddenly started telling us about changes they're making and such. It's nice that they're changing stuff, but it's still a case of "Too little Too late"

that and it's pretty much coming back as a case of "Well, it's not our fault" and "It's a misinformation campaign by your mods to get you to hate us"

In other words... "Please don't leave because then we won't get revenue from this forum"

And we didn't need a misinformation campaign to make us hate them. they did that all on their own.

I may be a bit incoherent for this post, but that's cause i'm really mad about this.

I especially dislike the fact that they're trying to drive a spike of dissention between posters.

here's a quote from that page from one of the "old Forums"

someonw posted this "With this round of changes and the core essence of the forum being torn out (community building features are being destroyed in favor of game discussion forums, or so we have been told)... "

and Leonai_art responded with this I've found that this is NOT the case, and that it was either misinformation, or something else...

I just think it's really funny that less than 2 days after a message to change to these forums, they throw a bone to us and say "see it's just like the old forums now, and it's really not our fault"

One More thing...

Leonai_art posted on crappy old forums
"Your post count will be returned to you. Sooner than later, I hope. I'm going to be working to get all of your posts and all of your forums back asap. The information that was given to you was NOT correct. There was never any intention of not merging all of the old forums with the new. "

So all of a sudden, they pretty up the forums and remove the MxO ads? Despicable.

Well, maybe not despicable. Yay or something.

*shrug*

it's not that they made the changes that's got me upset Twi. it's that it took a "Mutiny" so to speak and/or a mass exodus (or serious threat thereof) to get them to do this when it should have been done in the first place.

While I don't neccessarily condone slamming them on another board, I will conclude this: I'm not going back. Methaphorically they drugged my drink with rohypnol, and I woke up three days later in a bathtube of ice with both my kidneys missing.

That happened to my friend once. Maybe even twice.

ok, now I see we have someone posting over there that "they didn't know it was this bad" and "All the problems relate to a breakdown in communication if we knew about the problems, they would have been fixed"

So if that's the case, why is Bogo still around? is he an employee of Ogaming.com or is he a volunteer?

I mean, in my job, 4 months of not communicating the problems of the customers (and yes, we were customers of ogaming.com) would get me fired, and not only that, but would have caused a media uprising about the company that I work for, eventually costing millions of dollars in lost revenue and lost business.
